The empire of “fwd: fwd: fwd:”

Shared email in a personal mail client is a game of telephone: forward, reply, forget to cc the team. Two people answer the same message; a third gets no answer at all.

The BootDesk inbox is one place, with state: who owns it, who replied, who's waiting. Every message has a visible owner.

From email to ticket, without the ritual

Every message on a shared mailbox becomes a ticket — sender, history, and attachments included. Nothing needs forwarding, nothing waits in a personal inbox, and no spreadsheet tracks “emails that became tickets”. The ones that are just notices get closed as notices; the ones that deserve process get one.

Replies with the context attached

Answering an email inside BootDesk uses the same support thread: the customer's history is right there, and so are the internal notes. The customer gets a normal email — the team sees the entire resolution.
