The company behind the product is its own customer
BootDesk is built by GRUPO OITO OÜ, an Estonian company (registry 17195338). And GRUPO OITO runs on BootDesk: our own email queues, files, deals and calls live in the product, on the same plans, the same meters, the same menus — there is no internal edition, no enterprise-only switches, no flag that flips for us and not for you.
This is a deliberate operating choice, not a marketing one. When your company's own customers write to suporte@bootdesk.eu and the ticket lands in the same queues your product manages, every weakness in the product is your daily problem. The feedback loop has no sales team in the middle, and no quarter where "fix the onboarding bug" loses to "close the enterprise deal".
What "90% by agents" measures, precisely
The claim gets quoted loosely, so here is the definition. Around ninety percent of GRUPO OITO's operational work — handling inbound messages, drafting replies, connecting conversations to tickets, routing, tracking files and follow-ups, routine flows — is done by AI agents running on BootDesk, the same assistants and flows any customer gets. The remaining ten percent is humans supervising the loop: reviewing anything sensitive, making judgment calls, and stepping in the moment an agent hits the edge of its rules.
What it does not mean: zero humans, magic autonomy, or agents "deciding things". Every agent action is rule-bounded and audit-logged. The threading rules are the ones we publish — visible merges with visible reasons, drafts that never auto-send, menus when no agent is present. We hold the product to the standards we write about, because we are on the receiving end of our own marketing.
Why this matters to your evaluation
When a vendor says "the AI works", the honest follow-up is: does it work on your own work? Most software companies cannot say yes — their support runs on Zendesk, their internal chat on Slack, their files somewhere else. Ours can, with one caveat we also publish: we are the vendor, so take this post with the appropriate salt. That is exactly why everything here is checkable — the registry number above, the public menu, the meters in the app, the trial that is the real product.
The deepest version of the argument: if a feature is on this site, it is because our own work depends on it. The outbound notifications API exists because we needed to notify. The threading rules exist because we answered three "any news?" messages about the same ticket. The floors and meters exist because we pay our own bill. Product decisions at a dogfooding company have a different failure mode — instead of shipping what a deck promised, we ship what our own week demanded.
The receipt line
One last connection to the pricing post: GRUPO OITO pays the same floor, the same 3.000 BDK per teammate, the same token meter. The company's own monthly BootDesk bill is visible on the same screens any customer uses. There is no better alignment mechanism we could invent than paying ourselves.
